Crop Swap Talk & Event
Crop Swap Sydney is a grass roots initiative based on simple bartering principles, but one that has been modernized by the existing social infrastructure of Facebook. It connects local growers, provides free workshops, tastings or talks, and allows the sharing of excess produce, plants or seeds anytime, and often instantly.
Join Laurie Green, founder of Crop Swap, as she discusses the idea, its evolution, some of the weird and wonderful items that have been exchanged and its involvement with permaculture.
And then, have fun participating in a Crop Swap event.
Bring your excess produce, eggs, seeds or seedlings to swap, if you have some.
Don't have any produce in your garden? No worries - bring something you've made e.g. biscuits, jam, bread, dips, bring anything that you think others will appreciate in exchange for their garden goodies.
Free for members, $5 for guests.
Doors open at 6:30pm - a good time to check out our members' library & catch up with other PSN members.
Please join us for supper after the Crop Swap event.
