Introduction to home canning and preserving

Saturday, August 19th, 2-4 pm

The workshop will begin with a short overview of safe canning and preserving methods and equipment used for home canning. Followed by all participants working together, with Kirsty to make a batch of spiced applesauce and then canning it in individual jars for each participant to take home, along with the printed recipe.
