"Green Buildings, Sustainable Architecture. Retrofit. This is what we do. Earthships are radically sustainable buildings made with recycled materials.

Earthships can be built in any part of the world, in any climate and still provide solar power, catchwater, contained sewage treatment and sustainable food production."

For 30 years New Mexico-based Reynolds and his solutions-based community have devoted their time to advancing the art of “Earthship Biotecture” by building self-sufficient, off-the-grid habitats where design and function converge in harmony.

Reynolds describes one of the Earthships his crew builds:

"There's nothing coming into this house, no energy being used ... We're sitting on 6,000 gallons of water, growing food, 21 degrees celcius year-round ... What these kind of houses are doing is taking every aspect of your life and putting it into your own hands ..."
