Lucinda Coates has offered to host our February meeting 1/2/2015. She is an experienced PSN member and will do a tour of her garden. Lucinda lives in a townhouse and will explain some of the aspects of utilising Permaculture principles for small space gardening - her tricks and tips.
PS This small garden space is not especially child friendly due to it’s compactness but if you have gently behaved, budding young gardeners they are welcome.
The rest of the meeting’s topic is keeping (happy, healthy) chickens. Lucinda would love members to join in sharing tips about keeping chooks – whatever you can contribute on the topic.
e.g. the practicalities of building a lovely hen-house, and then fencing off bits of garden for the chook run.
PPS There will be a swap table - members can bring seeds or items they no longer need.
