The PSN Willoughby local group has a very exciting project to be launched on January 10 and 17. The Northside Repair Cafe will be off to a flying start on Sunday January 10. By way of brief background, the concept originated in the Netherlands in 2009 as a way to reduce waste, share skills and establish social connectivity. The idea is for skilled volunteers to assist someone to repair items such as clothes, shoes, toys and bicycles with no money involved. Essentially this is a community service to reduce waste and share skills
So do come along either to share skills or to have something repaired or just to visit and enjoy a cappuccino, latte and some yummy home made tit bits!
