Cecilia is a very high profile permaculture designer and advocate. She has design experience and publications in Australia and Japan and has also recently been speaking at Vivid Sydney.

Learn take-home design principles, some inspired by the simple elegance found in Japanese culture, and some from Cecilia’s experiences applying Permaculture design with creativity and connectedness.  Learn how to design permaculture in your home from the inside!

Cecilia and her work has been mentioned and recognised by many including:

Bill Mollison - “I’d like to acknowledge 4 people. One is the world’s most unlikely Permaculturist, Cecilia Macaulay. Every time I open a magazine, there she is. One day she will put permaculture on the cover of Time Magazine”.

David Holmgren - “I was just having a conversation about how Permaculture will never make it to the mainstream. Then I turn around and see the end of Cecilia’s presentation, and I say “I was wrong there” ”

Be inspired by Cecilia’s work and bring more sustainability into your lives!

Each September we celebrate Sustainable House Month.

All welcome: Visitors by donation, members free.
