Do you have problems with possums, fruit flies, stink bugs, brush turkeys, cabbage moth, cucurbit mould etc?  Learn how to control pests & diseases in your garden using low-cost organic methods from experienced gardener Mandy Stubbs and her team.

After your garden experience, come next door to the Repair Café to make some free bags to protect your fruits from pests.

Do you have problems with jewellery, gadgets not working, chipped vases, shoes soles detatched, blunt secateurs, zips to be replaced?.  Bring your items for repair by our volunteers  or watch to learn repair skills.

Seeking Helpers on the Day

If you would like to help out on the day, your assistance in showing visitors around, give them cold drinks, pass on any gardening tips on sustainable ways to control pests and diseases in the garden, sell second hand books for fundraising and get visitors interested in joining the garden and helping with the move and reinvention of the community garden in its new home.
