April sees the Garden team helping out at the Permapatch spring clean in preparation of opening for International Permaculture Day.
Permapatch promotes and practices composting, companion planting, animal husbandary, community, local action and sustainability.
The gardens have a great range of initiatives, including chickens, a huge aquaponics system, water tanks, various styles of composting, wicking beds, along with plenty of different styles of garden beds.
As mentioned lunch will be provided, though we need to bring our own morning and afternoon tea. Don't forget your mug!
