Permabee - 26 August - Naremburn
Are you interested in helping a local community garden renovate their raised bed and turn it into a wicking bed?
So, what is a wicking bed? It's essentially a giant "self watering pot" in the form of a garden bed. Wicking beds have many benefits both environmentally and horticulturally - but don't trust my word for it, research it yourself and make up your own mind.
The permabee starts at 10.00am followed by a guided garden tour of established verge gardens in the afternoon (around 2pm), where you can get some inspiration and learn how you can create your own!
WHAT TO BRING...
As this will be held at a community garden, please bring a plate to share.
Please bring personal protection gear such as enclosed shoes/ boots, hat, gloves, sunscreen and a water bottle.
The address will be provided once registration has been completed. The address is within the emailed confirmation, towards the bottom of the email.
