All Things Tomatoes

Hopefully you have an abundant of Tomatoes growing over Summer! You've tried to madly consume them but there are just too many of them to eat all at once! HELP!!

At this meeting, we are planning to cover all things tomatoes - share and taste, passata making with PSN Passata guru Peter and learn about how to make Barbara's most delicious tomato dip.

Summer Harvest Pickle Swap

We will also be doing a Pickle Swap! This is optional. If you would like to participate, here is the way it will work:

• Bring 11 jars of your homemade goods - pickles, jam, chutneys, jams, preserves, fermented foods or drinks. Basically anything homemade that can last a long time in the pantry or fridge.
  
• Try and use seasonal produce.
• 1 jar will be for tasting & the other 10 to swap. So you will end up with 10 jars of variety from everyone else at the end of the swap. 
• This is a wonderful way to stock your pantry, try new things/recipes, share your excesses. 
  
• Don't forget to bring along the recipe too, so people can learn to make it themselves.
