Backyard Chickens with Dr Kathy Fearnside

Dr Kathy Fearnside, an avian vet, will give an overview of basic health and disease control for backyard chickens.

In her talk, she will cover:

• What to look for when buying chooks (age, breeds etc)
  
• How to keep them healthy with diet and disease prevention eg vaccinations, parasite control

Want to know about any other feathered backyard birds such as ducks, geese or quails? Feel free to bring your questions on these as well.
