Permabee – Sunday 17 February 2019 - Northbridge
Did you know that there is an established community garden in the middle of Northbridge?
Community gardens are a great place to meet other edible gardeners and to discover new plants to grow and get useful growing tips that you can use in your own garden.
This garden is currently in the process of being converted to make it more accessible to all and we thought this is a great time for us to lend a hand and help them out.
There are a few projects planned for the day, so plenty of options for you to choose from.
If you have never been to a permabee before this is a good one to start with - you can do as much or as little as you want (you don't have to stay for the full day either) and more importantly it is a good opportunity to meet other like minded people.
WHAT TO BRING...
This will be held in a community garden as such please BYO drink, mug/cup and a plate to share.
Please also bring personal protection gear such as a enclosed shoes/ boots, hat, gloves, sunscreen and a water bottle.
Any questions, please contact the Garden Team - garden@permaculturenorth.org.au
