PSN Permabee/Gardening Day - Sun 24 March 2019 - Marsfield

Come join us to help unveil the beauty of a well established Permaculture Garden. We will be weeding and tidying up Peter Pezzolesi's garden.

Peter has been a long time PSN member teaching many of us how to make Tira Mi Su, Ravioli, Ricotta, Sausages and Gnocchi. Due to knee surgeries Peter has been unable to keep up with the maintain of his ever growing garden aka jungle.

The half day will be filled with weeding and pulling vines down that have covered garden beds. Beds will then be mulched and prepared to plant seedlings.

Peter's garden is a well establish permaculture garden with a forest forest orchard well over 20 years old. A healthy banana circle with lots of new pups and black bamboo forest are a couple examples of what awaits those that come on the day. Banana tree pups and black bamboo are available those that come to lend a helping hand.

The plan for this Permabee is as follows:

9:30 - Introductions, project briefing and safety talk.

10.00 – Break into smaller teams to work on the various projects.

12.30 – Lunch provided by Peter

We have plenty of activities for people with different skills. You don’t have to be Mr. Muscle to come and join us. You just need to have an appetite for learning, getting your hands dirty and having a laugh.

Space is limited to 20 spots, so register early and don’t miss out!
