Seed Saving with Annette Jones
Annette Jones, seed saver extraordinaire, from Permaculture Sydney West (PSW) will join us to share her knowledge about seed saving. Each month with PSW, Annette shares her wisdom on how to grow food from seed and cuttings, how to prick out and pot on seedlings, how to clean, pack and store seeds at Bidjiwong Community Nursery, Baulkham Hills.
We hope to gain inspiration from Annette on how to become an active, enthusiastic and productive seed saving group. On the night we will discuss the benefits of saving our own seeds and the global impact if we do not save our seeds. GMOs and quarantine reductions on organic foods and seeds from overseas will also be explored.
Bring along any seeds that you have saved from your garden with the date of the harvest and your location (suburb).
Free for members, small donation for guests.
Doors open at 6:30pm - a good time to check out our members' library & catch up with other PSN members.
Please join us for supper after the talk.
