Permabee - Sunday 2 June – Longueville

Are you starting to feel the winter chills? Why don’t you warm up and join us at Mandy’s garden for a permabee at her new place!

Mandy is an experienced edible gardener. She recently moved house and has to start her Permaculture garden again. Some of you may already know Mandy from her active involvement with Permapatch and Repair Cafe.

To kick start her new garden, Mandy is itching to install some wicking beds to create a waterwise edible garden.

And to help her on the day, Bob from WaterUps will do a demonstration of how to build a wicking bed using the WaterUps cells, before we all get to get our hands dirty and help build the rest.

You don’t have to be Mr.Muscle to come and join us. You just need to have an appetite for learning, getting your hands dirty and having a laugh.

Space is limited to 15 spots, so register early and don’t miss out!

The permabee starts at 9:30 and it's important to be there on time if possible as the day will kick off with introductions, a project briefing and safety talk.
