Permabee – Saturday 27 July – Thornleigh

Some of you might have attended Selina's permabee last year where we created a bioreactor, a water tank, moved a vegepod and created compost bays. We are going back to Selina's garden in July for Part 2 of making her permaculture dream a reality.

There are plenty of planned activities for the day, including:

1. Building a food forest along front fence (with a high likelihood of using the compost in the compost bioreactor)

2. Creating a Banana Circle (if Selina hasn't already done this)

3. Create a laundry greywater diversion (assuming Selina has approval from her sister)

4. Move a water tank around to the other side of the property and divert roof gutter pipe

5. Maybe another wicking bed, as we can never have too much wicking beds =)

As you can see there are plenty of activities for everyone! So come for a couple of hours or the whole day and help us transform Selina’s garden.

You don’t have to be Mr.Muscle to come and join us. You just need to have an appetite for learning, getting your hands dirty and having a laugh.

Space is limited to 15 spots, so register early and don’t miss out!

The permabee starts at 9:30 and it's important to be there on time if possible as the day will kick off with introductions, a project briefing and safety talk.
