ADVENTURES IN COOKING

Ku-ring-gai Local Group offers its first event for the year, open to all PSN members.

This will be just a sharing of knowledge, no presenter,  no power-point.

 It’s a meeting for those who can make or want to share and eat something adventurous and different and (optionally) healthy. The idea is that we will each bring something interesting, possibly from our own culture, or an old family recipe or something you have invented using “good weeds” (weeds that are edible and healthy but not eaten by the majority of people), or something you have grown at home or anything else you can talk briefly about.

 If you don’t like cooking, it could be made by someone else, or bought.

As we sample the food, whoever brought it can tell us about it, origins, health benefits, traditional uses in healing etc.

Really, it’s just a chat session about food from which we can all learn 

Tea coffee, herbal tea provided.

Because of Covid a limit of 8 must apply.
