Hey permies,
Sally is running a permabee to start her verge garden of native plants for pollinators in North Turramurra. As an Environmental Officer for Kuringai Council, Sally has an interest in encouraging verge gardens across the Kuringai area. Come along and find out what you can do in your garden!
It'll be on Sunday 28th November from 9am-12pm, and we'll be digging up the grass, setting the borders, filling in the garden, and planting out in the finished garden. All levels of capability and knowledge are welcome.
This is a great opportunity to meet other members, help members develop their gardens, and learn about how other people make plans for their context.
As per current rules of social interaction in NSW, a maximum of 10 people are allowed to attend, and all must be fully vaccinated, although masks won't have to be worn while working in the garden.
Bring your own gloves and hat, sunscreen and water bottle. If you have spades and hole-digging implements, those will also help. Drinks, snacks, and nibbles will be provided for participants.
Looking forward to seeing you there!
