International Permaculture Day - 6th May
When
06 May 2012
9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Location
All over the world
National Permaculture Day has expanded since last year and now it is happening all around the world!
The day is when local, regional, bioregional organisations, community groups, individuals, in fact anyone... open up their Permaculture projects for the public to come in and check out.
Permaculture is a design system for creating sustainable human environments. It is about designing households and communities that are productive, sustaining and largely self reliant and have minimal impact on the environment.
Tours, open homes, open gardens, courses, workshops, all sorts of things are organised on this day to celebrate and share the inspiring world of Permaculture.
