Learn how to make Mochi or Lo Mai Chi. These are delicious snacks, gluten free vegan glutinous rice balls perfect to have with a cup of tea or coffee. Mochi is the Japanese version and is normally filled with azuki beans. Lo Mai Chi is the Chinese version and is usually filled with crushed peanuts. We will do both.

As a special treat Wendy Pryor is bringing some of her home-made herbal tea for us to enjoy and some seeds to grow your own.

Wendy Pryor has recently completed an Introductory permaculture course at St Alban that is run by Penny Pyett. Those of you who joined PSN a while back would know Penny. I believe she was the President of PSN in its early days and was responsible for many of the lovely features that are now part of the organization. Wendy will share highlights of her training while we eat mochi and enjoy home-made herbal tea.

There are some seed potatoes to give away. June and July are good months to grow potatoes. All are welcomed to bring seeds, seedlings to share.

For Covid safety, this event is limited to 8 participants.
