WEAVING A GARLIC BASKET
Sunday 26th March 10.00am to 4.00pm
Mt Colah
Join the Living Skills Team in an exciting workshop, in a lovely permaculture garden, run by Sally Blackwell from "wastenotfibredesigns". You can see Sallys work on her website.
Spend a relaxing day learning the ancient art of basket weaving and create your very own basket specifically to store your garlic. You will learn the skill of twining using fine cane to create this specific style of basket. The skill can then be used to create countless other baskets. No experience is required. All materials will be supplied.
This workshop is subsidised by PSN and members are only paying half the cost.
This is an all day workshop so please bring your own lunch, cutlery and cup and a plate of snacks to share with the group for afternoon tea. Tea and coffee is supplied.
