SOY WAX CANDLE / REED DIFFUSERS

Come and join the Living Skills Team and learn how to make your own soy wax candles in lidded glass jars as well as Reed Diffusers. These make wonderful, affordable presents, particularly with Christmas around the corner

This workshop has an added twist to it.  You can choose to make one candle and / or Reed Diffuser or you can make as many as you wish. You only make and pay for the quantity you have ordered.  We will be ordering the supplies in bulk so that you only pay the cost price for the item.

Maryanne, an experienced Candle maker, will talk us through all the steps needed to make our own candles, from selecting the wax, type of wicks needed for different waxes, how to secure the wicks in the jars to ways of melting the wax.  We will then make our own candles. She will also show us how to make Reed Diffusers.

There will be a selection of fragrances for you to choose from.

The cost of the medium lidded jar candle is $5.00

The cost of a Reed Diffuser is $5.50 

Once you register you will need to send an email to the address sent to you on registration with the quantity of candles and/or Reed Diffusers you wish to make.

The cost you pay is the cost of the materials.

If you cannot attend the workshop but want candles and/or reed diffusers, register so that you can send an email with the quantity you wish and they will be made up and delivered to you (fragrances will be discussed by email).
