Monthly gathering: Preparing Your Home and Garden for Winter
7pm Monday 15th May
Lindfield Seniors Community Hall, 259 Pacific Hwy
Are you ready for winter yet? Are your wollens in good shape, your home draught-proof, your garden planted with winter crops?
Come to the meeting to share your problems and get solutions! Selina will talk about preparing her home for winter and about her recent experience with new windows, Peter will advise on planting winter crops, and Margaret will introduce you to the art of darning holes.
Feel free to bring your knitting, crocheting and darning to occupy your hands, while we swap experiences and ideas.
In addition, there will be the usual "trash and treasure" table, so bring your trash and be prepared to find some treasure! (Anything you bring, if not taken by the end of night, must go home with you.)
For this month's meeting, we won't be offering a zoom option, in part due to the hands-on nature of the meeting, in part because of the lack of technical people able to help out. If you are able to come in person, or are willing to take on the burden of health risk for this month, we encourage you to come.
If you have health concerns or are sick on the day, please show some respect and considerations for others and don't attend the gathering!
