June's Seed Savers event will be held at Peter's home in Marsfield from 2pm - 4pm on Sunday 25th June. There will be cleaning of last minute seeds but the emphasis will be on propagating seeds to grow seedlings for July and August. Besides radishes, Asian greens, mustard greens and perpetual spinach, garlic will be planted to be ready for summer. This will be an interesting activity for new members to learn about seed saving, soil media and growing on seeds in winter.
Sunday is forecast to be warm and sunny, but come prepared for the cold. This is always fun and useful. It would also be nice to bring something to share for afternoon tea.
This is a free event for members. Covid protection is up to the individual. The address will be supplied on registration.
