During this 1-day, practical workshop, you'll learn to apply the Permacutlure Principles through discussions and activities hosted in a local Permaculture Garden.
The course is based on Meg McGowan's 5 permaculture principles. During the day you will:
Visit a working permaculture garden and hear from the owner of the garden around their design and how they use and maintain the garden.
Learn how to apply permaculture principles and ethics to your own life and garden.
Participate in practical, hands on activities.
You will need to bring your own lunch and a small plate of food to share with others for morning and afternoon tea. Tea and coffee will be provided, but please bring your own drink bottle and keep cup.
Equipment for the activities will be provided, but we encourage you to bring a pair of gloves. Please also keep in mind that we will be outdoors so whether appropriate clothing is recommended.
If you have any questions or concerns, then please contact education@permaculturenorth.org.au
