Pruning workshop - Theory and Practice
Sunday 24 September 2023 @ 1:00 pm in Dee Why
We have arranged another pruning workshop, this time in the beautiful Northern Beaches. This will be run by PSN's highly experienced and knowledgeable life member, Di Evans.
We will have an informative, illustrated talk on the principles of pruning. This will be followed by some demonstration. We can then apply what we learned by carefully practising on some fruit trees.
Please bring what pruning tools you have, clean and sharpened. Secateurs, loppers, pruning saws and small ladders if you have any. Tool cleaning is important to avoid spreading infections; also remember your water bottle, gloves, hats, protective glasses, and covered, strong shoes; and don't forget something to share for afternoon tea.
Do bring some seeds/plants/cuttings to swap or share. There will be native raspberry, grape plants, nettle, bana grass cuttings and others available.
Please register on the PSN website. Members only. Address provided upon registration.
