MEMBERS AND GUESTS INVITED

Do you lose your secateurs when you’re in the garden?

Make a soft leather pouch with a belt or shoulder strap.  The one in the photo has been hand-stitched with dental floss.

Bring your favorite secateurs for a workshop at Wendy Bishop’s at Lane Cove.

Leather and webbing for the belt will be provided.

ALSO – if you prefer a non-leather pouch!  The workshop will show how easy it is to laminate thin plastic bags to make a strong, sew-able alternative. Suitable plastic will be available. The photo shows a waterproof sponge bag with zip, machine-stitched.

You can get your secateurs sharpened too.

The workshop is free for members.

Preferably bring your own scissors, needle and thimble, but some will be available if you don’t have them.

Please bring a plate to share for morning tea.
