Our first permabee for the year will be at Rowena's place in Denistone on Sunday 16th February from 1pm to 4pm with afternoon tea to follow!

Rowena is the Ryde Local Group Co-ordinator and has probably been to every permabee in the past two years! Now it's our turn to give her a hand. Her garden is quite small and has a lot of shade.It is pretty amazing though with what she has managed to grow. We will be renovating  and re-assembling a timber above ground garden bed so it can better take advantage of what little sun there is. There is a small timber fence to be removed, some out of control vine to be pruned back, toping up of garden soil and a lemon tree that needs some TLC.

Please wear long trousered pamts and long sleeved shirt to protect from vines, plus closed in shoes. You may need a hat too. You will definitely need gloves!

Tea and coffee will be provided but please bring something to share for afternoon tea.
