Living Skills: Malaysian Cooking Workshop

Sunday 31st May 11am – 2pm

St Ives

Come and join us for a wonderful opportunity to participate in a workshop to learn about Malaysian cooking. The very talented Jennifer will be showing us how to make Char Koay Teow & Won Tons.

Char Koay teow is one of most known noodle dishes from the streets of Malaysia consisting of stir-fried flat rice noodles with prawns and other fresh ingredients.

This workshop will suit both omnivores and vegetarians as we will be making vegetarian versions of the recipes as well.

Unfortunately other allergies or dietary requirements cannot be catered for.

After cooking the food, we will be sitting down, relaxing and enjoying the good food and good company.

You will need to bring:

  * your own utensils (plate, knife and fork) to sample the food cooked

  * A small plate to share for afternoon tea and your own cup.

Tea and coffee will be supplied.

Cost: $10 (members only). Any registrations not paid 2 weeks before the event will be automatically cancelled.
