Ku-ring-gai Local Group invites all PSN members to join our excursion to the Ku-ring-gai Wildflower Garden

Sunday 14th July 1-4pm (Please note our meetings are now on Sundays not Saturdays)

We will explore the new and exciting site, which Ku-ring-gai Council has offered to PSN to develop a permaculture demonstration & community garden.  The site has been an organic garden next to the Wildflower Garden’s staff office off Mona Vale Road in St Ives for some years and now they want to offer it to PSN to manage.

At this stage no firm decision has been made by the Management Committee about the best way forward for the site and they are keen to hear your feedback about the site.

We will meet at Ku-ring-gai Wildflower Garden at 1 pm at the exercise equipment just inside the entrance. There is some parking space opposite some exercise equipment on the left hand side as you come in from Richmond Avenue or you can take the road to the right and park by the visitors’ centre then it’s a short walk back up the hill.

Peter Wright will show us around, and seek your opinions, ideas and suggestions over afternoon tea. All PSN members are encouraged to join in and have their say about this exciting opportunity. Please bring something delicious to share and something to drink as we discuss the possibilities.

Please remember to wear closed walking shoes and bring a sunhat, camera, a note pad etc.

For further information please see the Facebook entry.
