Local Group Ryde/Hunters Hill
Monthly get-together Saturday 9th November at 2pm in North Ryde
Have you seen any native bees in your garden? Possibly not because they generally just look like a fly or a nuisance insect, when they are doing a very special job quietly keeping our food and flowers pollinated.
WITHOUT BEES WE WOULD HAVE TO HAND POLLINATE ALL THE VEGETABLES AND FRUIT THAT IS GROWN!
We will be discussing native bees; what their special purpose is in our gardens, where the like to nest and how to make a nest.
Bring a note book and pen and something to share for afternoon tea.
Diana Fletcher
Ryde/Hunters Hill Co-ordinator
