Hi everyone
We are starting off the year with a push to spruce up gardens opening up for International Permaculture Day and first cab off the rank is Lucinda’s compact little gem in Epping on Sunday the 23rd.
Lucinda wants to install some drip irrigation, which should be a good learning opportunity for everyone involved.
Other tasks include getting the next batch of compost under way while using the last batch to build up the soil to plant four new papayas down in the sunken garden. A bit of re-planting of bromeliads will need to be don in preparation for this too.
Then there are a few light jobs like planting up some seedlings and gently forking over parts of the garden to aerate and improve water penetration.
As always remember to work safe and bring boots, gloves, hats, slip slap stuff and your favourite gardening implements and don’t forget to register so we know how many to cater for.
Look forward too seeing you all there with a smile
Till then all the best
Peter
