NEW MEMBERS’ KIT / PSN WEBSITE GUIDE
The following information is designed to help new and existing members learn more about Permaculture Sydney North and our www.permaculturenorth.org.au web site.
1. Glossary of common terms and Abbreviations:
PSN Permaculture Sydney North. This has been broken into subgroups by council.
Pc Abbreviation for Permaculture (Note the lowercase “c”)
PS Permaculture Sydney - comprises of all the Sydney area groups (Permaculture North, South, and West)
Intro This is a reference to the Introduction course to Permaculture, based on Bill Mollison’s Introduction book, “Permaculture One”. The course can be completed all at once, or broken up into components (few days or equivalent).
PDC Permaculture Design Certificate. Also based on Bill Mollison’s book. Fifteen days or equivalent.
Permabee A Garden Team working bee made up of PSN member who use Permaculture principles transform people’s gardens. Great way to get your hands dirty and learn Permaculture first hand.

2. Our Website Home Page
If you have already signed up and joined PSN online, you will know our website is www.permaculturenorth.org.au, which stands for Permaculture Sydney North Inc. We were once just ‘Permaculture North’, which still has an active and different website address.
3. New Members’ Booklet
Go to the Permaculture Sydney North home page and click on the “About page” in the top menu. The Important Links list, has a link to the New members booklet providing helpful information to new users.
4. DIY ‘Fact Sheets'
Go to the Permaculture Sydney North home page as shown above, and click on Fact Sheets in the top menu or use this link.
5. Signing in to the website
To get the most out of the website though, you will need to sign in.
Once you have logged in you will be able to access greater content within the website.
