Bio-Intensive One Acre Farming with Brett Cooper

You can live a more natural, healthy & happier life, regardless of your home location or job type."


The talk will include details of Brett & Nici's extremely productive property (Limestone Permaculture Farm) including:

  • Full farm design, including a market garden, kitchen garden & intensive orchard / food forest on swales
  • Animal management of poultry, sheep & goats
  • Farmgate set-up
  • European & native bee keeping
  • Native bush foods 
  • Seed saving & propagation
  • Purpose built structures 
  • Farm fresh nutritious wholefood cooking

To explain how they achieve their intensive gardening so effectively, he will also explain the importance of:

  • Composting, manure teas & soil health
  • Limestone methods of No-dig & Sheet mulching
  • Seasonal plant selection & succession’
  • Planting in ‘Guilds’ for intensive stacked vegetables & herbs
  • Incorporating vertical & overhead growing into the garden
  • Weed ecology (weeds for green mulch and manure)
